Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn can all be used by businesses to market their brand. Although not as powerful as SEO and other digital tools, social media has positively exploded over the past decade. There are more people than ever choosing to interact with brands (in both positive and negative ways!) on Facebook and Twitter.
To a lesser extent, brands can use image networks such as Instragram and Pinterest to advertise their products and website. These can be through paid or sponsored posts, which get into the newsfeed of people who seem interested in that sort of service or product.
